Terms
Terms of Service.
These terms cover the website, hosting and care services DudLeo LLC provides. Clients accept them when they sign up, check the box at checkout, or pay an invoice. They do not cover DudLeo Games. Last updated October 11, 2026.
In these terms, "DudLeo," "we" and "us" mean DudLeo LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. "Client" and "you" mean the business that signs up for our services.
1. Services and plans
We offer two ways to get a website: a monthly subscription, or a one-time build that you own.
| Plan | Subscription, monthly | Subscription, annual (billed monthly) | One-time build | Optional care after a one-time build |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $149/mo | $124/mo | $1,250 | $79/mo |
| Growth | $249/mo | $208/mo | $2,750 | $129/mo |
| Full Service | $449/mo | $374/mo | $3,750 | $199/mo |
Subscriptions have no setup or build fee. What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page at the time you sign up, including page limits, monthly edit hours and service page features.
Edit hours. Each plan includes a set number of edit hours per month: 0.5 on Essentials, 1 on Growth and 2 on Full Service. Time is counted in 30-minute increments. Unused time does not roll over. Extra time is billed at $75 per hour. Changes you make yourself through your service page do not count against your edit hours.
Custom work. Anything beyond your plan's standard build is quoted in writing and billed separately. Current add-on prices are listed on our pricing page: extra page $150, booking integration $300, seasonal and holiday effects on Essentials $15 per month, unique design from $500, and online ordering or e-commerce quoted per project. Standard Essentials sites are one location, one language, and do not include booking or ordering integrations, e-commerce, client logins, or custom layouts and animations.
Local search. Plans that include a Google Business Profile review (Growth yearly, Full Service every 6 months) cover a check of your profile details. Extra reviews are billed at $75 per hour. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or reviews.
Third-party costs. Your domain registration, paid third-party services and photography are billed by those providers, not by us, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Billing, cancellation and refunds
You pay monthly by card on file, and you authorize us to charge that card for every amount these terms describe.
Monthly subscriptions
- Billed in advance each month and renewed automatically.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for.
Annual subscriptions
- A 12-month commitment, billed monthly at the discounted annual rate.
- At the end of the 12 months, the plan renews for another 12 months unless you tell us otherwise before the renewal date.
- Early cancellation: if you cancel before the 12 months end, you owe the lesser of (a) the discount you received so far, meaning the monthly rate minus the annual rate for each month you used, or (b) the payments remaining on your 12-month commitment. We charge that amount to your card on file when you cancel.
Example: an Essentials client on the annual plan cancels after 5 months. The discount received is 5 × ($149 − $124) = $125. The remaining payments are 7 × $124 = $868. The client owes $125.
One-time builds
- 50% deposit to start, and the balance is due at launch.
- Two rounds of revisions are included.
Refunds
- Approval before launch: before your site goes live, we ask you to approve it. If you do not approve it, we refund everything you have paid, and neither of us owes the other anything further.
- After you approve the site, payments are non-refundable, including annual-plan payments and one-time build payments.
Failed payments
- If a payment fails, we notify you and retry the card.
- After 7 days unpaid, we may suspend your site until the payment clears.
- After 30 days unpaid, we may cancel your account. For annual plans, the early cancellation terms above apply.
3. Ownership, buyout and leaving
We own subscription websites and license them to you while your subscription is active. One-time builds belong to you once paid in full.
What you always own
These stay yours no matter which plan you choose or how you leave:
- Your domain name, which is always registered in your business's name
- Your business name, logo and branding
- Text, photos and other content you supplied
- Leads and messages your site collected
- Your site's analytics data
When you leave, we hand these over on request in a standard format.
Keeping a subscription site
- After 12 paid months, you may take your site's files for free, at any time.
- Before 12 paid months, you may buy your site and keep it. The price is the one-time build price for your plan, plus our published add-on prices for any extra pages or complex features on your site.
- Once the transfer is complete, we hand the site's files to you or to the host you choose.
What never transfers
Neither a transfer nor a one-time build includes:
- DudLeo's internal tools, automation and AI systems
- The service page software and its sign-in system
- Our account credentials
- Licenses for third-party services that are licensed to us
A transferred site therefore does not include the service page editor.
When a subscription ends
If you cancel and do not take or buy the site, it goes offline at the end of your last paid period. We keep a copy of the items you always own for 30 days so you can request them.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you give us and anything you post through your service page.
Your content
- You confirm you have the rights to every photo, logo and piece of text you give us or post yourself.
- You are responsible for keeping your business details accurate, such as hours, prices, menus and specials.
- You will cover our costs if a claim is made against us over content you supplied or posted.
Your service page sign-in
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for changes made under your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- We recommend turning on two-step sign-in.
Acceptable use
You may not use your site to:
- Publish illegal, fraudulent or infringing content
- Send spam or host malware
- Do anything that puts our servers or other clients' sites at risk
We may remove content or suspend a site that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
5. Service levels, liability and legal terms
Uptime and backups
We use reasonable efforts to keep sites online, monitored and backed up. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and outages at our hosting providers may briefly affect your site.
Limit of liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data, except where the law does not allow this limit.
Price changes
We give at least 30 days' email notice before changing your price. Annual plans keep their price until the commitment ends.
Changes to these terms
We email you at least 30 days before changes to these terms take effect. Continuing to use our services after that date means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
